Thinking Rich

Living rich is really an experience, and is much more than spending money. Is not about money.

Truly money rich, money is like a tool, a special tool, for living your life as you want decisionally so. And, one money rich has more freedom, compared those not. Much more freedom really. However, compared several other nations, the average American citizen experiences a life truly rich. However, because of media continually attempting to persuade buying, all we each have like never enough, or perhaps not quite the wantable best, most Americans do not recognize themselves rich. More is persuaded the life, the rich life, the better life, than the appreciation and enjoyment of what we already have.

There was a time in my life that I was laid off. Fortunately, my dwelling was paid for. And my vehicle was paid for. My unemployment compensation surprisingly so easily paid for my utilities, my food, gasoline, and also some extras. Clothing, I already had. During those days, I recognized the fact that I was ever so fortunate, and really living rich. However, if I mentioned this to most anyone, well their thinking about me would have been risked. But I knew, my life then quite enjoyable.

Aware of history and how others lived centuries ago, it is easier to recognize the life oneself as rich. The life experienced by oneself as rich. And this an everyday experience. This is especially true if gainfully employed, and money smart simply so. One need not have a college degree to manage their budget. It’s simply basic math.

Than become involved with thankfulness, living in this time of humanity, lets see what we have. Lets really see what we have. And who we are.

Electrical power readily available, coast to coast, and the availability of this not needing be by ourselves, but already done by others. And maintained by others. Much the like, we have servants. We would not need pay servants, or those who’s duty of employ is to serve us, if we were money rich? Certainly, we would. And we do, by the form of payment taxation.

There is also running water, readily available by the tap. And showers have become ever so common in availability. A true expectation is running water, such a provision, by those who serve us.

Central air conditioning and heating. Quite common in America, by the rich. And comfort is so important. Don’t you agree?

And of course is our mobility. Such a variety of availability is. Though, I most often prefer my car. Of course, the comfort of air conditioning and heat is also in my car, but I especially enjoy my electric windows and my selection of either radio or CD. Other conveniences are, as I take for granted in my modern car. As are granted, of course. Also the rear window defroster is quite nice sometimes. Quite the innovation. But I am a rich man, much like you, you know.

I especially appreciate the roadways, although admittedly I rarely think much about them, as I go here and there in my car. Smooth and clutter free. The traffic lights working. The driving lanes clearly and simply marked. Those who serve me do a fine job, as I of course would have it. And I also appreciate others in their vehicles respectful my presence on the road. This also as I would have it.

Sometimes, I think about government. And the purpose of those in government is management. And they in government, who serve me of course, mostly do a fine job assuring others respect my presence on the road. Rich as I am, admittedly, I am fortunate to have such fine public servants loyal so with their duty of job. From those who manage to those who police my roadways.

Sometimes in a local grocery store, ever so convenient for me of course, I feel badly because many of the shelved items I simply do not want. I have not yet found myself in the mood for. But, week after week, month after month, and year after year, there the food items are readily on the shelf for me. To choose if I want, to not choose if I don’t want.  And rarely do any of those serving me there, attempt to entice me to put something different in my basket, respecting me so. To select something different, compared to my long enjoyed habits of dining.

Sometimes, I am across town, and it would be ever so convenient for me to shop for groceries then. Well, of course, there is a grocery store there too for me. Readily available, of course. As a rich man would expect from those who serve him well. Sometimes, likens I am a king, and such a rich king, convenience in abundance for me. But of course I am not a king. I am merely a citizen, an American citizen, accustomed so with my rich life. And rich so, long accustomed such a splendid everyday experience, I do not think of myself as rich, nor privileged compared others in the world, but as simply myself. This, life as I am.

Recently, I decided to have a special tripod for my digital camera. My digital camera, also video capable, is one of my favorite possessions. The ten megapixels, and certainly I could not live with less, makes for excellent pictures.    ...Well, about the tripod. It was not as expected, and I was disappointed so. My disappointment certainly was not the fault of the service person, who directed me in the store, but I simply could not keep it. So, I took the tripod back, needing explain my thinking. In brevity, of course. And my money was graciously returned to me. Though, seemed a disservice of me, the one serving me then ever so understanding and polite, to accept the return of my money. Though, a rich man needs be money smart, to maintain himself rich with selections in life, even when it hurts.

And of course, I have a computer in my home, and ready access to the internet. The world wide internet, than only usage in America of course. As I would have it. A source of information literally at my fingertips, and twenty-four hours a day. And the volume of information is greater, than the libraries of past, though such an impressively large volume of books. However, this was unimaginable only fifty years ago. Not even imaginable. My appreciation to those who serve me, abling my use of such a tool, such an instrument, allowing my written voice available internationally in seconds. In seconds. Though, I must pay those who serve me, this service is one of those well worth it. And I am able, of course. I am a rich man, an American you know.

A couple of nights ago, I went dancing with several of my friends of years. We had not a get together in quite some time. After the evening of ballroom, a kind of dancing we each have years enjoyed, we went to a pub, an Irish pub. Admittedly a pub is not what I am accustomed to, but we had such an enjoyable time visiting with each other in such a relaxed atmosphere. We were dressed nicely but not formally, of course, having chosen of group a pub for ending our evening. But I was with the group, and of course my life as is such a rich experience is certainly not because of only my thinking nor presence, but also because of others. And especially because of others, I am fond of so. We had an exceptionally good time. An ordinary time, I suppose, but also a truly special time as we reminisced.

Sometimes, I am made aware of others, their lives not nearly as enjoyable. Their daily worry for food, their clothing not a variety, their dwelling shabby and drafty, their health not possibly a concern to attend to. And I am reminded about my everyday experience, my life experiences in America. Fortunate so, I see myself, everyday one of those ever so rich. Ever so life experiencively rich.

Well, totally comprehensive, certainly you did not expect of this. My cell phone has finished charging by now. You know how busy a rich man sometimes is. Though, it has been such a pleasure sharing some of my thoughts with you. Perhaps we will meet sometime, and become acquaintances. Living in America, totally predictable are not our fortunate morrows, believing in ourselves so, and of course respecting those who serve us.

Believing in ourselves so? Well, certainly. For we each are a being, bodily a being, this in the Being GOD’s image of course. And this is something special. Accustomed with being so, we often think of this as ordinary, while this is something special granted us each.

Such an advantage is, and richly so in time, oneself a being. A being too.

I have enjoyed my thoughts in such wonderment sometimes. Such a richly resourceful Being, and such an intelligent Being, needed be. For earth and also universe, such a reality this Created.

Certainly, for us to compatibly be for belonging in Heaven, there each ourselves fitting, we need be accustomed with life rich, life experiencively rich everyday. And this compatibly so among others.

May GOD bless all, who think rich. And this not about money, but about life an experience, an everyday experience, for dependable so.

Pragmatic so, my thinking, living in this time America. Though centuries ago, many tried so much for having such a glimpse, a glimpse if only this, such a glimpse as is now ours for the having, life likening as is in Heaven.

Because of those belonging there, life in Heaven is such a paradise, This than only because of the physical there, as there is the physical likening here, but not the same as here of course.

Perhaps the poor will always be with us, those poor minded, those poor thinking and unable to see, while ourselves on earth. Their thinking different. Or, perhaps in time, we can do something about that, aware as we are. Aware of life so, as we are.

May GOD bless all their seeing, for their eyes filled with life so, with life their own. As is the truth because of others, than only because of each themselves.

Those who are rich and also aware of life so, they are likely to complain, to complain when they should. To be more demanding to those in government, who are to serve them. They know to say. They know to ask. They have expectations.

Good can be the influence, our thinking rich. Appropriately so, with the real and the pragmatic, our thinking rich.
